The
Origins Of Ogyog |
||
|
Ogyog has been reborn many times upon this plane. In his latest incarnation this old native indian soul has selected the body of the white man to create the images and perspectives that these times require. All life is sacred to Ogyog and he is saddened by what has become of this planet and universe since his last visit centuries ago.
His artwork reflects this love of life. Through his travels he has given us the opportunity to see life as he sees it. Throughout this universe there are many beings and creatures that may be unfamiliar to us here upon this plane, but the geometry of the forms will bring us familiarity. They ARE the geometry of the universe. The geometry that all things are made up of and the geometry of basic life, the chromosome, the genetic chain and the simplest blade of grass. The
abundance of images on these pages will no doubt astound you and you
may begin to see a familiarity to things know to you. It will be familiar because it is the fabric of the universe. It is familiar because it is part of you. It
is familiar because life is a dream. |

| Ogyog
was never schooled in art and all his talent is self taught. The beginnings
in the early 1980's, were doodles and lines on any material that was available. Most of the early years were spent in a place called Dain City. Not really a "city", but more of a village of possibly 500 souls, - two main roads, a petrol station and a corner store. A quiet rural area that is literally in a lost corner of the universe. Dain City had a few minor peculiarities unto itself. Firstly is situated between two canals and a set of train tracks that are actually bisecting these canals to form an almost perfect triangle. You can see these unique features on the map that is posted here. Secondly,this triangle is visible high in the air and possibly because of this man made geometric form, there is a high incidence of UFO activity in the area. There are swamps near by but the "swamp gas theory" doesn't explain the high frequency of sightings in the area. At this moment we have no explanation for these "visitations" other than regular infomation meetings with Ogyog. |

The geometry of location was a large influence on Ogyog. You will see as you peruse through these pages, that there is a definite shift from organic line drawings and water colours to a stronger form utilizing geometrical patterns and power structures. Also, there came the use of gold and silver paints which represented the sacred- the traditional offerings to the gods and the precious metals- that have been horded for centuries. Ogyog's paintings also began a transition to a black canvas symbolizing mystery and the vastness of the universe we all live in. Here we are in May 2005 and Ogyog has finally compiled most of his vast collection in the form of this web archive and the coming months and years you will see things here for sale exclusively. Ogyog will not only have his art works and new editions of t-shirts available but also a calendar, ceramic items and finally music. Thank you for visiting Ogyog here at www.otherworldorder.com.
